Animal Hybrid

Warning Beware Of Hybrid!!

Wilkenson Clear               Animal Hybrid                                 M-3                         3/31/10

The assignment was to create a hybrid animal. The steps I took to was choosing three animals I thought represented me and explain why I had choose those animals. Then I looked on the Internet for references of my three animals that I would be putting together. The required finale piece of our digital work was suppose to include the your hybrid animal, and a background or habitat of some sort.  The software we used to create out hybrid animal was Adobe Illustrator.

The three animals I choose to combined as one where a shark, a fox, and an Armadillo.  I combined the body of the armadillo the head and legs of the fox and the fin and tail of the shark.  For my background I tried to make a little pedestal for my animal for it to stand on over some water. I also added a sky I was kind of going for and aquarium look like what they do for seals almost.

The three animals I chose represents me well I think. I chose a fox because they are smart cool and laid back. I chose to pick an armadillo because of there tuff exterior they can endure a lot. And last but not least a shark because they are furious and strong willed when they want something they go for it. The background of the whole aquarium theme goes with my animal because of the color I chose it to be and it great big tail.

I think I did ok on this assignment I have everything I am suppose to have and followed the guidelines. I think it could have been better but I do like how I did the highlight and how strong the face is. If I could change something it would probably be the background it could have been way better. I didn’t use any new tools although now I wish I did because my background could have came out better.
